What's Got Byron Scott in a Hissy?

http://mavsblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2009/04/byron-scott-is-all-hot-and-bothered-abou.html

Not sure if you gents saw the post game comment from Byron Scott, but he feels the Mavs were showing his team up last night.

Anyone know what Byron Scott's talking about here?

I didn't see anything to indicate the Mavs acting "classless" and trying to show up the Hornets. Unless you count Bass flexing after two dunks but that's a stretch.

By the way this is the same "classy" Hornets team with Possey calling A-Dub a pu$$y (ironic) last night and of course there's that middle of the road power forward David "I'm so pedestrian w/o CP3" West touching Dirk's cheek last May.

Also, here are some funny thoughts on Byron Scott from a Spurs blog.

As a side note, does any coach in the league have more of a statue stance than Byron Scott? He's go the arm crossed stance down.

Sunday will be a true test on what this team can do in the playoffs. I'm excited to see what our boys in blue got.

After a long season of consistent inconsistency and blowout heart brakes, the Mavs have a chance to send a message to the West that Dallas will not be an easy out for anyone in the playoffs.

  1. I guess he forgot about CP3 taunting the Mavs bench during the playoffs last year and David West putting his hand on Dirk's face. It's amazing how his opinion changes when he's on the losing end. I think he's just trying to fire up a team that has played very mediocre down the stretch. I hope the Mavs turn the heat on them tomorrow.

  2. Nice find Ammanuel. Though if we lose today, it's gonna be that much harder to swallow.

Speaking of, everyone is calling this the "biggest game of the year," but is it really. I'd argue that Minnesota and Houston are bigger, b/c those are games that we should win.
