    I like Ellis alot...very similar game to JET. I don't see him as a long term solution at PG for GSW, but he could be killer if used right

    Agreed on Dirk.

    What do you think about a trade of

    (a) Stack and Bass for Capt Jack.

    I figure we can groom Singelton into a Bass.

    (b) Stack and Damp and Singelton for Capt Jack.

    I would do Howard straight up for Captain Jack...he's the anti Howard...clutch, agressive, and have toughness and a mean streak this team needs

    but if you could do one of those proposed for him and then deal Howard for something else I would do that as well. I don't think Howard and Jackson would work well on the same team as the essentially play the same position

    I figure if we can have Howard and Capt Jack that puts in a lot better position. I think his aggresiveness (Jackson) will be good for Josh.

    Josh needs edginess..Dirk is a calm collected player, which is not bad at all.

    I just think that F the world attitude of Capt Jack would help Josh out tremendously.

    I was worried about the position conflict. I'm thinking Jack can play the 2 and Josh the 3 but your right..its almost the same skills. One just executes them better.

    I don't know how it would work salary wise (I would need to look at Jackson's salary, but my guess is that GS would have to throw something else in to match)...but I think it would make sense for both sides.

    Howard for Jackson does not work straight up, but Stackhouse and Bass or Stackhouse and Singleton would work. I think you do that deal, and then trade Howard for a starting 2 guard...thoughts?

    I really like Singleton's game. Imagine if the Mavs can get Bass, Howard and Singleton on the court at the same time. Talk about athleticism
