I'm still hurting from last night's suckfest in Atl.
JJT seems to think that the Mavs have become irrelevant, obviously he doesn't read MDS.
I don't think that David Moore even watched the game last night, else we have a very different definition of "Passion."
A few interesting game notes from ESPN.com: Atlanta improved to 35-9 this season when opponents score under 100. ... Dallas dropped to 2-19 on the road when entering the fourth quarter with a deficit. ... Against the Eastern Conference, the Mavs are now 8-5 away from Dallas. ... Nowitzki has scored at least 20 points in 12 straight games, the NBA's longest current streak. ... After visiting Cleveland on Saturday, the Hawks have a four-game homestand against Minnesota, San Antonio, Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers.
If we are going to get to 50, we must get a win tonight, no other way of looking at it. And I feel strongly that getting to 50 with this team, a team that once started Ryan Hollins, JJ Barea AND Antoine Right (that was last night), would be a tremendous accomplishment. If we can get Josh into top form (and that's a big if), then we really can contend with any team save the Lakers. I'm not talking championship, but it would be nice to advance.
Ummm..these early East coast games are not condusive to my work schedule.
ReplyDeletedefinitely not good for me
ReplyDeleteJust checked into the game...hmm...this game is a lot closer than I would have thought.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Dirk?
ReplyDeleteDid you see J Kidd cross someone over...wow.
ReplyDeletelooks like another game that's going to the wire
ReplyDeleteI think this team only believes in blow outs happening one way
ReplyDeleteI wish we had Rush
ReplyDeleteJeff Foster is stil in the league and with the Pacers..wow!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had Jeff Foster
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with JET getting the start tonight? Is this a result of injuries, or Carlisle mixing it up?
ReplyDeleteAre Quisi and Jho going out tonight?
ReplyDeleteCome on guys...they can't afford to lose this game
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure...I guess he's mixing it up. Maybe he's starting to have a little more faith in Singelton and Bass off the bench.
ReplyDeleteI bet they smoke some wicked green sticki icki later...but I don't know if that counts as "going out"
ReplyDeleteDirk's got to quit shooting fades when they aren't going down. post..repost until you get your position...circa 2006.
ReplyDeleteOr just shoot straight up...just leave the fade away for the rest of the game...its not falln.
ReplyDeleteI agree...he's got to vary up the shots a bit
ReplyDeleteThese announcers are serious homers...its a bit ridiculous.
ReplyDeletenice tie-up by Kidd
ReplyDeletejust for the record Dirk is 0-4 this quarter on fadeaways.
ReplyDelete1-1 on a jump shot.
All team specifc announcers are homers, thats their job. Some are just worse than others
ReplyDeleteIt's Quinn Buckner...no wonder the Mavs suck tonight...I think he has drained their lifeforce just by being near them
ReplyDeleteTrue...these guys are just super homer. Makes you realize how good Bob and Mark are.
ReplyDeleteBTW wtf was Kidd doing. F...come on Dirk.
Quinn set us back 10 years.
ReplyDeleteDirk with the Defense
ReplyDeleteQuinn set the entire coaching profession back 10 years
ReplyDeleteBIG shot by JET
ReplyDeleteJ-E-T-T..Jett..Jett
ReplyDeleteWasn't Ford a tad out of control and tripped on the spin off Singelton's foot..that wasn't a trip.
ReplyDeleteFoster takes a 3 and Quinn says it was a nice play...no wonder he's not coaching
ReplyDeleteI agree, he may of tripped of Singleton's foot, but it was his own doing
ReplyDeleteF
ReplyDeleteMVP time Dirk...make it happn, capn.
ReplyDeleteTJ...I know its gotta hurt to see a former Longhorn do it to ya
