Hollins is really taking advantage of the PT. Very active. 3 offensive boards and a few redirected shots on the defensive baord in the first few minutes.
JET's flagrant is a direct result of his poor shooting night, in my opinion. He's just frustrated. I'd like to continue this run before we get to the 4th...I get nervous with this team in the 4th.
Though Terry has got to turn around, and ATL is coming back to the mean with their shooting.
6/30. 20%. WTF guys? What's wrong with 2 point shots? They've missed 6 in a row. If they take 2 point shots instead and only make 2 of them, then it's a 2 point game right now...
I had an ATL win here, but seriously, as the game developed this one was ours for the taking. I really thought that we had a shot at moving up a seed and maybe winning in the first round, but nights like tonight rip that hope away from me.
Check out this story in the DMN...did David Moore even watch the game??? I'm not sure that jacking up 10 3s in the final 5 minutes constitutes "passion."
Ha ha... where did you find that?
ReplyDeleteHe's got a helmet on.
ReplyDeleteGordo.
This is the greatest day of my life
ReplyDeleteHollins with the start, I'm curious to see these first few minutes.
ReplyDeleteHollins is really taking advantage of the PT. Very active. 3 offensive boards and a few redirected shots on the defensive baord in the first few minutes.
ReplyDeleteHollins with his second alley-oop in the last three trips down the floor. He does look very lost on D, but ATL has yet to exploit it.
ReplyDeleteA ridiculous offensive rebound tip by JJB and another dunk for Hollins. Filling in nicely.
Getting some production from the center production...I like it
ReplyDeleteAll the big men are playing with energy. Not used to seeing that. I think that Hollins got 'em going.
ReplyDeleteThis is an UGLY stretch. But they'll pull out of it.
ReplyDeleteUgly would be an understatement. They are currently shooting 34.9% from the field...
ReplyDeletenot to mention a whopping 4 points this qtr
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with all the Technicals?
ReplyDeleteJust a bad stretch. Carlisle had a beef there, but 36% isn't gonna cut it.
ReplyDeleteWe all know how the NBA goes. But knowing the Mavs and their tendency to mail it in in the 4th, we need to get this back by the end of the 3rd.
Coach Bob just dropped this gem: "If the Mavs get a basket here, this will look better than if they don't get a basket."
ReplyDeleteMavs get their first free throw attempt of the game with 7:12 left to go in the 3rd. Kinda tells you how the game has been going.
ReplyDeleteI am shocked this game is still close

I can't get Chimpanzee Riding on a Segway out of my head
ReplyDeleteJET!!! Hopefully that will fire him up for Q4.
ReplyDeleteDude, that is an amazing song. That is an amazing Chimp. I like how he wears a helmet - safety first.
ReplyDeleteIt's not good when Terry has to tell you (Singleton) what your defensive assignment is.
ReplyDeleteMan, they've certainly had their chances. I'm not sure how much worse Atlanta can play.
ReplyDeletegiving up too many layups
ReplyDeleteThat's my motto - safety first
ReplyDeleteAt least we should be in the bonus soon. That will help.
ReplyDeleteIt's too late in the game to trade baskets...time to D it up
ReplyDeleteBTW Shiff - I got rid of the TNT widget. I was getting sick of looking at Barkley's mug all day.
ReplyDeleteI like how Hollins runs the floor. Once he figures out his positioning on defense, he'll be a very valuable piece.
ReplyDeletefine with me
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we are shooting <25% from behind the arc and we are still in this game. Come on guys.
ReplyDeleteThat 3 sec was flat out wrong. I went back and timed it. I've never seen so many called in one game.
ReplyDeleteGOODNESS! F'n 6/27 from threes...
ReplyDeleteThis has to be JET's worst game of the season
ReplyDeleteI think maybe now would be a good time to hit a 3 for a change

ReplyDeleteI agree Kevin, way too many 3 attempts down the stretch.
ReplyDeleteThat's ballgame
My battery is about to die Shiff, so is my enthusiasm. What a crappy f'n game.
ReplyDeleteI'll be on the road tomorrow night, catch you on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteCatch you Sunday...time to turn this Sh*t around
